Top 5 Things to do in London during the October Half-Term

It might seem as though your kids have only just gone back to school after the summer holidays, but October half term is just around the corner, meaning it’s the perfect time to start planning lots of family friendly fun!

Museums at Night

The October half term is a great time to enjoy a whole host of spooktacular Halloween activities and London isn’t short of fantastic Halloween themed events and activities.

From London Night Owls Halloween Sleepover on October 27 at the Museum of London’s galleries, through to the Horniman Museum’s Halloween Fair, there’s no better city to enjoy a frighteningly good Halloween.

Go Ice Skating

You know it’s the official countdown to the festive season when London’s favourite open-air ice rinks start opening up again!

The National History Museum’s iconic open-air ice rink has announced that it will open on October 26 until January 7 – just in time to round off the half term holidays. So dig out your chunky knits and woolly hats, round up the troops, and get in the festive spirit.
