My flat is located on the 9th floor of an apartment block where a conventional air con unit with external wall ventilation was neither practicable or desirable. The only option therefore was the installation of a water cooled system.

After some research, I contacted ACS because of the proximity of their location and the fact that they had been the sub-contractors for the installation of similar system to other apartments in my block.

My initial contact the firm was with the managing director, Mark Humphries. His knowledge was impressive and he answered all my questions with precise facts and without any hint of a hard sell attitude. He arranged a site survey at a time of my choosing. The survey was carried out at the agreed time and again, no hint of a hard sell. The work involved was dutifully explained with an assurance that all disturbances will be kept to a minimal.

On the day of the installation the work began promptly and was completed in the agreed time allocated and true to their words with little disturbance. The place was left tidy with all packaging and debris removed from site.

The commissioning of the system was, at my request, left for the following day and Mark having detailed himself for this responsibility was on site very early that day. The process, once he has gone through explaining all the features, does and don’t, was very easy. And once the air con unit kicked in, the transformation in the flat was magical from a sauna to a very pleasant living environment.

In conclusion, I confess I have no hesitation in recommending ACS highly enough. Not only was their work of an excellent quality and their quoted price competitive, they also showed a great spirit of flexibility especially when due to unforeseen circumstances I had to cancel at fairly short notices two previous installation dates. With regard to living with the installation and hardware, I have deferred to my tenant who is the beneficiary. He will write in his own words and style comments which I have no doubt will be just as positive.
